THE SECOND EMPRESS is now in paperback, and I could not be more excited!!!!!!!

At the same time, I am hard at work on THE LAST QUEEN OF INDIA! For those of you who haven't seen the news on my Facebook page, book six is set in India, where I recently spent two months traveling to Gwalior, Jhansi, and the many places Queen Lakshmi both lived and fought.

While in India, I wasn't just busy with research. I was also getting married! If you are unfamiliar with traditional Indian weddings, they're unbelievably elaborate affairs, with music, food, dancing, and colors - lots of bright colors! It was an amazing time, and I couldn't be more excited about setting this next book in India, where Queen Lakshmi would have experienced many of the same things I did during her own wedding.
